You agree that we may send email to you for the purpose of advising you of changes or additions to this site, about any of our products or services, or for such other purposes as we deem appropriate.

  • Limitations of Liability

    We assume no responsibility, and shall not be liable for, any damages to, or viruses that may infect, your computer, telecommunication equipment, or other property caused by or arising from your access to, use of, or browsing this Web Site or your downloading of any materials, from this Website. In no event will we, our respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, affiliates, parent corporations, agents, successors, assigns, retail partners nor any party involved in the creation, production or transmission of this website be liable to any party for any indirect, special, punitive, incidental or consequential damages (including, without limitation, those resulting from lost profits, lost data or business interruption) arising out of the use, inability to use, or the results of use of this web site, any web sites linked to this web site, or the materials, information or services contained at any or all such websites, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory and whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages. The foregoing limitations of liability do not apply to the extent prohibited by law. Please refer to your local laws for any such prohibitions. In the event of any problem with this web site or any content, you agree that your sole remedy is to cease using this website. In the event of any problem with the products or services that you have purchased on or through this web site, you agree that your sole remedy, if any, is from the manufacturer of such products or supplier of such services, in accordance with such manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty, or to seek a return and refund for such product or services in accordance with the returns and refunds policies posted on this website.

  • Ordering and Payment

    Prices displayed on our website are in USD and do not include applicable taxes, shipping, or handling charges. Taxes will be calculated and added during the checkout/quotation process. Shipping costs, and other handling charges can be provided upon request. Border control taxes that may or may not be induced will be the sole responsibility of the customer. All of our collection products are made to order, unless otherwise noted. Full payment is required in advance to initiate the production process, including the preparation and material purchasing. Once we have begun the production process, no refund shall be made.

    All of our invoices are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of release. After that time we cannot guarantee the same price if it has changed.

    We accept the following payment methods: checks, wire transfers, ACH payments, and credit cards. Please note that there is a 3,3% processing fee for all credit card transactions. All transactions are secured and encrypted.

  • Shipping

    OHLA STUDIO will ship the goods purchased by the Customers through an intermediary courier service. The terms applicable to the delivery of the goods vary depending on the type of item purchased, materials and size. The delivery of the items will be made at street level, in case the Client requires outside maneuvers, the Client will assume the responsibilities of damages and extra costs, these activities will have to be contracted by the Client. The Client will be able to review the costs and approximate delivery times for the selected products.

    Once OHLA STUDIO delivers the merchandise to the courier service, the delivery of the merchandise to the Client's address at street level is the sole responsibility of the courier service, so the tracking of the shipment and any complaint or comment related to the shipment should be made directly with the courier service company.

    In the event that the merchandise is shipped from different locations, the Customer must generate the necessary Purchase Orders indicating the delivery addresses, and must pay for the corresponding shipments and taxes that could be generated. In these cases, OHLA STUDIO will previously inform the Client that additional shipments will be required.

    OHLA STUDIO assumes no responsibility for delays in delivery or inability to deliver when such delays or inability to comply derives from a fortuitous event, force majeure and, in general, any cause beyond the control of OHLA STUDIO. In the event that the courier company fails to deliver the item in three visits to the Customer, the item will be returned to OHLA STUDIO. And the customer will have to pay a new shipping and storage service.

    In case of deliveries inside Mexico, the Customer will pay the shipping costs that appear in the Purchase Order. If the Customer wants to return the merchandise, the Customer shall pay the cost of returning the merchandise from the Purchase Order. In case the Customer requires a change of product, he/she will have to pay the shipping cost for the return of the merchandise according to the new Purchase Order.

  • Cancellation Policy

    OHLA STUDIO may offer the Customer the exchange of the purchased merchandise for other products or, in case the Customer does not want an exchange of the same, may choose to cancel it without penalty under specific circumstances only:

    In case of defects in the merchandise, the Customer may request the return of the same. In case such defects are attributable to OHLA STUDIO, OHLA STUDIO will pay the costs of shipping and recovery of the merchandise. Variations in the quality of the product as a result of the artisanal process are not considered defects. These include, and are not limited to: finishing variations, unperfect corners , variations on the angles of the product, small stains, tonality differences in materials in contrast with product photography.

    OHLA STUDIO will respond for the exchange of the damaged pieces by the courier service as long as the Client documents such damage with legible images within 24 hrs. and a maximum of 36 hrs. after having received the package, showing the complete packaging, the guide attached to the packaging and the damage to the piece considering the following aspects:

    - Visible damage on the box. It must show the outside of the entire box or package.

    - Guide attached to the packaging. Must show how the package is received

    - If the box presents any violation to the seal. Must show these details or signs of violation

    - Damage to the product inside the box. Must show the inner packaging capturing the entire box.

    - Damaged product. Must show the imperfections and fractures of the piece.

    In terms of the Federal Consumer Protection Law, Customers shall have the right to revoke their consent once they receive the merchandise requested through the Purchase Order, within 5 (five) days following the date of delivery of the merchandise. In this case, the Customer will absorb the freight costs corresponding to its zip code and volume of the order.

    For the cases described above "Collection Pieces" there are no exchanges or refunds unless they have a production defect.

  • Storage Fees

    OHLA STUDIO is able to store your order free of charge for no greater than 30 days. After 30 days, your order is subject to a $25 per day charge for extended storage. This must be paid prior to delivery.

  • Force Majeure

    All quoted completion and delivery dates are estimates only. OHLA STUDIO and their partner shippers and manufacturers shall not be liable for delays in completion or shipment or default in delivery for any reason of force majeure or for any cause beyond reasonable control including, but not limited to, (a) government action, war, riots, civil commotion, embargoes or martial laws, (b) Manufacturer's inability to obtain necessary materials from its usual sources of supply, (c) shortage of labor, raw material, production or transportation facilities or other delays in transit, (d) labor difficulty involving employees of Manufacturer or others, (e) fire, flood or other casualty, or (f) other contingencies of manufacture or shipment. In the event of any delay in Manufacturer's performance due in whole or in part to any cause beyond Manufacturer's reasonable control, Manufacturer shall have such additional time for performance as may be reasonably necessary under the circumstances. Acceptance by Buyer of any goods shall constitute a waiver by Buyer of any claim for damages on account of any delay in delivery of such goods.

FAQ

  • Made to Order

    Because all of our products are handcrafted and therefore Made to Order. Lead times begin when full payment is received. All goods are shipped via UPS/DHL air freight insured express services. All formal quotes are honored for 30 days. All of our lamps are made with CULUS listed components but the lamps are not CULUS / UL listed as such. Lightbulbs utilized are E14, candelabra base, frosted, available in different stores in the USA. Customization fees apply to wire the lamps for electrical components in other countries other than the American continent as for custom dimensions. For more details email us at sales@ohlastudio.com

  • Customizations

    We offer basic customization for select pieces. Basic customization is limited to material finishes, limited dimensions (limited to the pieces) and are subject to approval by the OHLA STUDIO team. Basic customization can extend lead times an additional 2-3 weeks. Orders will be shipped out once balance is paid in full. Custom orders cannot be canceled and are final sale.   • COM / COL

    For orders requiring COM/COL a swatch is required for approval prior to production. Please email sales@ohlastudio.com for any questions.

  • Cancellation

    We do not accept cancellations for orders that have already started production. All of our pieces are made to order and are not returnable.

  • Returns and Exchange

    Due to the handmade nature of our products, no returns or exchanges are permitted for both lighting and furniture. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs incurred.

  • Damages

    All damage claims must be made in writing to OHLA STUDIO within 7 business days of receipt of items. Please retain all the original packaging and include clear pictures of damages and packaging along with an explanation of the occurrence. Failure to retain packaging may invalidate the claim.

  • Warranty

    OHLA STUDIO is not responsible for any costs of installation, removal, reinstallation, restoration, or repair work after 7 business days of receipt of items.

  • Lead Times

    All of our products ship from our studio San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Lead times are calculated based on production and handling time and do not include transit time. 8-10 weeks of lead time are the standard times for all products except for the holiday season where the times may increase by 2 more weeks (Christmas and Easter). Transit times depend on the shipping destination and method. Tracking information will be provided upon shipping.

  • Trade
